Government employees can withdraw after 3 years of joining NPS and maximum 25% of the total contribution can be withdrawn

Partial withdraw for specified reasons, like Higher education and Marriage of children, purchase /construction of residential house, treatment of specified illnesses

A Government employee can withdraw from NPS to a maximum of three times during his entire tenure of subscription

The subscribers are allowed partial withdrawal based on self-declaration. He does not need to provide any documents to substantiate the reasons for the partial withdrawal

When a Central employee exits from NPS on retirement he has to utilize at least 40% for the purchase of annuity

If the total accumulated amount is less than or equal to 2 lakh on the Date of Retirement then he can withdraw total amount
