Salary of a GST Inspector

As per the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC, the post of GST Inspector comes under Level 7 and the Pay Scale for this post is Rs. 44900 to Rs.142400.

If you want be become a GST Inspector in CBIC then you have to clear the SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Exam.

If a candidate has graduation degree in any discipline, he can appear in SSC CGL Examination for the post of GST Inspector.

Graduation in any discipline is mandatory. There is no any restriction of percentage marks obtained in graduation.

SSC CGL exam is conducted in four stages viz Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III and Tier-IV. Objective type questions are asked in Tier-I & II exams
